Rihanna's is on deck for release on November 16 and the pop diva told Spin that the album is "really expressive and sassy and flirty" and it's also "blissful and really feminine." She did reveal that one of the edgier songs is called "Cheers," which samples Avril Lavigne's ballad "I'm With You." RiRi and Avril? Together on one track, even if manipulated by a computer? Shit sounds hot. Shit hot.
"It's one of my favorites on the album," Rihanna said of the Avril-sampled tune. "It's a song you would hear in a bar but I think you could also hear it all over pop radio. It's really grungy and melodic and catchy. And the way the producers sampled Avril — it's like she's an instrument. It's really cool how they combined [the song] with her vocals."
Are you interested in hearing "Cheers" and getting Loud on November 16?
