Trendy: Nicole Richie's son Sparrow was the essence of kiddie cool as he accompanied his mother to dinner at a Chinese restaurant in Hollywood, today


Nicole Richie's children are quickly following in the footsteps of their parent's rocker chic style.

Accompanying their 29-year-old mother to dinner at a Chinese restaurant in Hollywood today, Harlow, three, and 18-month-old Sparrow where the essence of kiddie cool.

The tiny tots slipped into some trendy outfits for the evening outing.


Trendsetters: Harlow, who was also on the outing, emulated her mother's bohemian style, while Sparrow dressed more like his dad, Good Charlotte rocker Joel Madden


Little Harlow emulated her mother's favoured bohemian style in a hippie style floral skirt and a blue tank top, paired with adorable pink ballet flats.

Sparrow on the other hand appeared that he was taking on his father Joel Madden's rocker vibe in an all-black ensemble consisting of a t-shirt, jeans and vest.

He paired the look with some skater style trainers and red sunglasses perched on his head.

At one point Sparrow took crayons out his mother's hand so he could draw fake tattoos on his skin, much like his father who is covered in the real deal.

His sister also sported a butterfly design on her arm.

In usual fashion, their mother was the epitome of casual chic cool in a pair of black jeans, a pink lace camisole and bike jacket.

She accessorised the look with a snakeskin clutch, black boots and aviator sunglasses.

Nicole was recently forced to shoot down rumours that she was pregnant with her third child after a furore of recent media speculation.

The former reality star was seemingly angered about the reports and released a statement calling them 'cruel'.

Earlier this month, Nicole and her husband Joel Madden had a brief honeymoon in Paris - their first getaway since tying the knot in December.

The couple have not announced plans to add to their family but Nicole recently told People that she is in married bliss and has enjoyed every minute of her marriage so far.

Nicole Richie wants to save her kids at any cost !!!

Nicole Richie would do anything to protect her adorable two children- Harlow of two years old and Sparrow of fourteen months old- from anyone taking any kind of photographs of them. She has currently persisted photographer fabrio Luis Mariotto to keep away from them for the next five years.



The matter was solved outside court. “As a mother, I have to protect my children, whether it is right or wrong. This is something which is intrinsic within our mothers. There specific rules for us all and they are all common ones”, Nicole says. Previously, Fabrio was caught red-handed while waiting outside the children’s school.



When Nicole had taken measures against him, he refused and proclaimed that he did not know what the building actually was and he did realize it was a school, he moved away from it. The contract which has been established between the twp parties- Nicole and her family and Fabrio- it states that for the next five years, Fabrio should stay far from the Nicole family.



At the end, Fabrio had to sign in a document, as drawn by lawyers, with the binding terms mentioned. In exchange, she has withdrawn the early warning order against the photographer. Nicole is a protective mother indeed!

After having two children, a daughter of two years old called Harlow and a son of only fourteen months old called Sparrow, the couple Nicole Richie and Joel Madden has at last decided to the knot tied up at the bride’s father, Lionel Richie, place. The wedding ceremony will be holding at Lionel’s garden in Beverly Hills home early December this year and as Christmas is here to come up, they took this auspicious event to be the best time to get married. A source tells that “Christmas was for family and faith and that is why December was chosen to get wed.” It is anticipated that around seventy-five close relatives and friends shall be attending their wedding which counts in DJ Samantha Ronson and the artist Christina Aguilera who is also said to carry out the service after ceremony. According to the rituals, their daughter Harlow will be the flower girl while Nicole’s closest friend Masha Gordon will be the maid of honor and Joel’s twin brother Benji will be the best man. The couple, Nicole Richie and Joel Madden, has a plan of first spending the festive Christmas season with their families and friends prior going to honeymoon.
