Katie Price gets a pick me up from Leandro as they make a rapid recovery following horror crash

By Sarah Fitzmaurice

Happy couple: Katie could keep her hands or her legs off her 25-year-old lover and was seen kissing and cuddling with him. In the day Katie put the dramatic crash behind her and climbed back into the saddle for a cross-country ride

As she was hoisted up high into the air by her boyfriend wrapping her legs around his head, it was hard to believe that Katie Price had been involved in a horrific car crash just the day before.

But yesterday Leandro Penna managed to take his girlfriend’s mind far from the dramatic events on Saturday and the pair indulged in what appeared to be a number of acrobatic embraces.

The mother-of-three couldn’t keep her arms or her legs off her man as she climbed all over him and she appeared delighted when the Argentine model lifted his lady high into the air so that she was sat on his neck and collar bone.

Little pick-me-up: Leandro Penna managed to put a smile on Katie Price's face yesterday following their horrific car crash and was seen fooling around with the glamour model hoisting her high into the air

Dressed in a dark brown cowboy hat a pair of dark jeans knitted boots and a cream jumper Katie appeared content and relaxed putting the traumatic events of the day before behind her.

The couple had visited a chapel on the site of their hotel that morning before they decided to go for a quick ride

Katie and the Argentine model took their mind off the crash with a fun day out including a helicopter ride to Lake Chiquita and climbed aboard a boat to look at the flocks of Flamingos that live on the lake.

On Sunday morning Katie and Leandro were involved in a terrible car accident which left two horses dead after the stallions ran into the road smashing into the 4X4 the couple were driving in.

Katie later told papers that she felt she was ‘lucky to be alive’ following the accident and as a keen rider she was left particularly distraught by the death of the animals.

What on earth are you doing? Katie showed off her gymnastic skills with the help of Leandro who appeared to be enjoying the view

She tweeted: ‘I'm so lucky to be alive @leandro__penna saved my life and the others in the car he is a hero to us for this.’

But while Katie was left extremely shaken by the accident yesterday she managed to force herself back into the saddle yesterday.

Her spokesperson told MailOnline: 'The accident was quite horrific and she was quite shaken up but after she visited the chapel she did get on a horse for five or ten minutes as they were horses at the hotel where they were staying.'

A source told the Daily Mirror: ‘She was in tears for much of the day and was really nervous the first time she stepped back into the saddle.’

Horrific smash: The car Katie and Leandro were driving in was smashed up from the impact of the horses which ran into the road and hit them. The horses died following their collision with the 4X4

It is understood the mother-of-three suffered cuts on her hands and a jarred neck after the incident, which happened at 1.30am on Sunday morning around three miles from their hotel Estancia San Pedro Viejo in Argentina.

And witnesses said the only reason she and the Argentinian model survived the crash was because they were in such a sturdy vehicle and were wearing their seatbelts.

We're OK: The mother-of-three and her boyfriend were badly shaken by their crash yesterday but managed to take their minds off things with a fun day out

A source told The Sun: 'Jordan probably loves horses more than people, they're her life. To have watched the animals die like that would have been extremely distressing for her.'

A spokesperson for the model said: 'There was an accident and sadly two horses were killed. Katie and Leandro are OK, though understandably shaken.'

Flying high: Katie and Leandro took a helicopter ride to Lake Chiquita where they were followed by cameras

Love boat: Katie and the Argentine model enjoyed a helicopter ride to Lake Chiquita and climbed aboard a boat to look at the flocks of Flamingos that live on the lake

Katie Price tells of terror after shocking car crash which nearly killed her and boyfriend Leandro

By Sarah Bull

-Horse-loving model left distressed after her 4X4 mowed down two stallions
-Mother-of-three suffered severe whiplash in 'terrifying' crash

Near-death experience: Katie Price, seen here with boyfriend Leandro Penna before the crash, has spoken of her terror after the car crash which nearly killed her

Katie Price has spoken of her terror after a car crash which nearly cost her her life.

The glamour model was left with severe whiplash after two stallions ran into the road and smashed into her 4X4, which boyfriend Leandro Penna was driving.

And sobbing after the terrifying accident which left the horses dead, Katie admitted she was stunned she survived.

She told the Daily Mirror: 'It's a miracle that we're alive. It was absolutely terrifying. it all happened in a flash and I have absolutely no idea how I wasn't badly injured.

Romance: The model straddles her new boyfriend kissing him passionately while climbing rocks on holiday in Argentina

'I feel so lucky, but more than anything I'm just distraught about the horses. It was so upsetting.'

It is understood the mother-of-three suffered cuts on her hands and a jarred neck after the incident, which happened at 1.30am yesterday morning around three miles from their hotel Estancia San Pedro Viejo in Argentina.

And witnesses said the only reason she and the Argentinian model survived the crash was because they were in such a sturdy vehicle and were wearing their seatbelts.

But while Katie - also known as Jordan - was shaken by the crash, she was said to be most upset about the death of the horses - being a keen rider herself.

Tow-truck driver Raul Reinoso told The Sun he pulled up shortly after the crash and spoke to Katie and Leandro.

He told the newspaper: 'They said the horses were galloping in front of them and suddenly just went up in the air. It must have happened very quickly.

'They said Leandro had time to slam on the brakes. They waited and the car got towed by another car to the farm. I saw them today and they seemed fine.'

Katie and Leandro flew into the Argentine capital Buenos Aires last Friday, before heading 400 miles north to Despeñaderos, located on the outskirts of the city of Cordoba.

Katie originally spent just four days in South America earlier this month before jetting back to the UK earlier than expected to sort out issues in her impending divorce from Alex Reid.

Leandro said at the time: 'We have to rush back to London again. It's something that came up at the last minute. It's nothing to do with Katie's divorce, it's work-related.

They only have eyes for each other: Earlier in the week, Katie and Leandro were seen at a charity polo match in Argentina

Loved up: The pair kept their arms firmly around each other as they strolled around the venue

'We're flying back to London together on Friday and returning to Argentina again once we're done and then I'll take Katie to see my parents.

'The idea now is that Katie gets to know Buenos Aires a little. She loves what she's seen so far. She really likes everything.'

But after just eight days on British soil - during which she pulled out of plans to run the London Marathon - she jetted back to Buenos Aires with Leandro again.

Earlier in the week, Katie uploaded a series of romantic snaps she took with Leandro in Cordoba, Argentina, to Twitter, accompanied by Spanish musings on the region and her love for the 25-year-old.

Katie Price and Leandro Penna only have eyes for each other as they cuddle up at charity polo match

By Sarah Bull

They only have eyes for each other: Katie Price and boyfriend Leandro Penna snuggle up on a haystack at a charity polo match in Argentina

She's never made a secret of all things equestrian, and even has her own speciliast clothing line for keen riders.

But, as Katie Price attended a charity polo match in Argentina yesterday, the horses appeared to be the last thing on her mind as she struggled to keep her eyes, and hands, off boyfriend Leandro Penna.

The 32-year-old model and her model beau snuggled up as they sat on a haystack in between matches at the event at Pompeya Polo, in the quiet town of Ashochinga.

Loved up: The pair kept their arms firmly around each other as they strolled around the venue

Wearing a pair of skinny jeans teamed with knee-high brown boots, white vest top and brown knitted jumper, Katie looked happy and relaxed as she strolled around the venue with her boyfriend.

And later in the day it seems the heat got too much for the mother-of-three and she took off her jumper to reveal her sheer white vest top underneath - unintentionally also revealed the polka dot bra she was wearing.

But while it is Katie who is the more well-known party in the relationship in the UK, Leandro is the star in his home country, and was bombarded with autograph requests from young fans as he took in the sights and scenes at the event.

Katie and Leandro flew into the Argentine capital Buenos Aires last Friday, before heading 400 miles north to Despeñaderos - located on the outskirts of the city of Cordoba.

Katie then tweeted her appreciation to Elton John for throwing the post-Oscars bash where the pair met in Los Angeles.

She wrote: 'We are so compatible we can't thank Elton John and David Furnish enough.'

And it seems Katie's adventurous side has come out during her trip, as the pair even fit in a skydiving experience, which was filmed for her reality show by a camera crew.

Katie's second trip to Argentina comes ahead of her divorce from Reid.

The model and Reid - who split in January after 11 months of marriage - are expected to receive their decree nisi in two weeks, followed by a decree absolute six weeks later.

Meanwhile, Katie's first husband Peter Andre is in Cyprus with her three children, where the group are enjoying days out including visits to theme parks and local eateries.

Katie Price and Leandro Penna's whirlwind romance as they go sky-diving

By EMILY SHERIDAN

'I can't look': Katie Price closes her eyes and hugs her knees as her tandem master prepares to land after jumping out of a plane at thousands of feet in Cordoba, Argentina

They've been walking around with their heads in the clouds since meeting at an Oscars party seven weeks ago.

And today, the whirlwind romance between Katie Price and Leandro Penna reached new heights - quite literally - as they jumped out of a plane thousands of feet in the air.

The glamour model, 32, and male model, 25, enjoyed tandem skydives above Penna's home province of Cordoba, Argentina.

Flying high: Price looked like she was enjoying herself as she soared over the green fields

Currently on holiday in the South American country with her latest love, Penna has been showing off the lush countryside.

So after enjoying leisurely lunches and horse-riding earlier this month, the couple decided to up the action with a skydive above the city of Alta Gracia - located in the north of the province of Cordoba - 20 miles north from Penna's hometown of Despeñaderos.

Jumping while tandem with a qualified instructor, Price and Penna would have enjoyed a freefall of between 15 and 45 minutes before the parachute was pulled, depending on what height they jumped out of the plane.

That was fun! Price looked thrilled when she finally landed safely on the ground

After landing back down to Earth, Price posted a photo on her Twitter page: 'This is me and Leo skydiving. Can't believe we did it.'

Once landing safely, the ecstatic pair were greeted by Penna's parents Hector and Mercedes, who appear to be getting on famously with the glamour model since meeting earlier this week.

While Price appeared to have a smooth landing, having hugged in her knees in preparation, Penna didn't look quite so prepared and landed on his backside.

A celebratory kiss: After skydiving separately, the couple were reunited on the ground

Thanks for looking after me: Price kisses her tandem master after he safely navigated her to Earth during the parachute jump

Goofing around: Price posted a photo of her holding her insurance waiver alongside her and Penna's tandem master in the hanger before taking off

Feeling nervous: The couple talked to her reality TV crew before boarding the plane ahead of their skydive
